the 7-19-89 doesnt do it for me....the Jam is pretty good, but he fucks the words up.I remember alot of people would laugh or whatever at the shows when Garcia or Weir would forget words, like it was a cool thing. It wasnt.I dont like word flubs at all,or repeats of the same verse(Peggy-o for example)..it is was it is,they were major drug addicts who had a huge selection of songs and played a different show every night so the flubbing of lyrics is understandable, but was it cool?Hell no,it sucked. When Jerry Blew the Lyrics on a "Scarlet" or whatever it was/is a major dissappointment

lol it never really got to me when he blew the lyrics. well sometimes I guess

i.e. 82-85 and 91-95, you know he flubbed cause of the drugs. which youd kinda just shake your head

but all other times, especially if its an energetic show and you know he just plain forgot, I just laugh

I strongly encourage you add/listen 12/28/90 in this list. Closes the first set and the jam that ends the tune is amazing. Great version.

you are correct. The sunday show. And yes, another great version of FH. When I first heard the early versions in 88 I didn't think the tune would make it but it took on a life of it's own. Since you are a FH guy let me ask this....what did you think of Vince's contributions on it? I'd say one of his better efforts especially when they would add the "pipe" noise. Not too mnay great things to say about his playing but FH was solid

OH..while Vinnie didnt destroy Foolish heart,he certainly was no where near what Mydland did on a few versions.....Have you ever seen the official Foolish Heart Video?its absolutely ridiculous.Garcias hair is Perfect(no werewolves of London pun intended) shampooed and blow dry,makeup.......it high comedy, and really bad too
